West Virginia miner wrote farewell note to family before the blast that took 25 lives earlier this week.
Josh Napper, 25 years old and killed in the tragic explosion wrote a note to his family before the accident saying farewell, in the case he did not survive his upcoming shift. Apparently he had a scary feeling something was going to happen after warnings of poor ventilation in the mine.
He wrote:
“Dear Mommy and Jenna,” Pam Napper recalled. “If anything happens to me, I will be looking down from heaven. If you take care of my baby girl, watch over (her), tell her all the good things about her daddy. She was so cute and funny. She was my little peanut. And Jennifer, I know things have never been the greatest sometimes, but I just want you to know I love you and I care about you.”
